Eve is an Elderflower Sour and is immediately my least favourite beer from Orbit.
Generally I like a sour beer, and when they’re right they can be incredibly complex.
But this, I’m afraid, is a bit one dimensional.
The aroma is a light waft of silage and elderflower, and the beer sits a rather insipid straw colour in my glass.
And sadly that just about sums up the flavour too.
A limp hay bale and cornflake malt and a watery elderflower cordial with sour lemon juice at the end.
Nope, this one’s not for me.
