Wicked Hathern Brewery Harbräu (4.5%)

Harbräu - 1Brewed especially for my friends at Duncan Murray Wines in Market Harborough (hence the name), this is a rather good golden Lager.
With a rich amber colour and a spicy honeycomb aroma, it certainly looks and smells appetising.
Taking a swig you find a crisp and clean beer with a creamy honey, walnut and ice cream cone malt, at once rich and round and sharp and bright form the hopping, which is herbal and green, floral and fresh, with a little lemon rind pithiness and some zingy grapefruit zest.
The finish is soft and dry and refreshing.
I could happily sit in a pub garden and drink this all afternoon.
