This nicely presented bottle of Pale Ale smelled lovely as I poured it, all peaches and Passion flowers, but sadly this bottle is almost completely flat and watery and limp.
Maybe it’s just that I got a bad bottle.
Maybe if I try another one it’ll be excellent.
But there’s a thinness to the flavour that makes me think that that may not be the case.
Everything disappears far too quickly from your palate.
The honey and wafers of the malt and the light bitter hedgerow of the hops just don’t hang around anywhere near long enough.
In fact they more or less wave at you as they’re leaving.
