Bevog’s Pale Ale isn’t overly exciting.
It’s alright as it goes, and you could easily drink it of an evening, but it’s nothing to write home about and it certainly won’t be on your must try again list.
The aroma is a yeasty garden flower thing, and the beer sits a dull orange in my glass.
The malting is caramel and biscuits, pretty nondescript but functional, while the hops are sharp and pithy with citrus fruit and some sherbet, but again everything is a little bit functional, a little hard to get wordy about.
Tak’s finish is bitter and dry but unremarkable.
Decent at best.
