Brewed for the cool as you like DF/Mexico restaurant in London, Lupulo Pale Ale is a super hoppy little bottle of beer.
It pours a lovely gold and smells of Passion flowers, grapes and peaches.
The malting is a soft and gentle toffee, rice cake and honey coated cornflake cereal bar and the hops are big and fresh and sharp.
You find lime leaves and lemon rind, kiwi, satsuma zest and lots and lots of fresh green herbal leaves, from clean metallic basil to woody Rosemary.
The finish is long and crisp and dry, and I for one can see why this would work well against the hot and spicy food on the DF/Mexico menu.
Very good.
