Showcasing the Warrior hop, this is one hell of an IPA.
It’s so thick, gloopy and resinous that even the smell sticks up your nose, glueing sherry trifle to the inside of your face.
There’s an enormous blob of chewy toffee, sugar cane and rice paper form the malts, hefty and round and voluptuous, they hold up the pine cones and redwood resin, orange marmalade and peach fuzz of the hops.
And there’s a rather sexy boozy brandy heat that warms your chest and makes your cheeks rosy before a finish full of sherbet fizz and stinging nettle bitterness.
Lovely.
Mental, but lovely.
