Mad Hatter Brew Co. Toxteth IPA (6.5%)

Toxteth IPA - 1Toxteth IPA with its big fluffy head, looks and smells very good indeed, all bread dough and peaches, jelly sweets and garden flowers.
The malting is a wafer coated in toffee, honey and popcorn, and the hops are juicy fruit chewing gum, limes, pineapple and peaches.
All this makes for a beer with a round chewy body and a long bitter dry finish, and though none of the above sounds very different from a lot of other IPAs, Toxteth stands out by being so very beautifully balanced throughout.
