Moor Beer Co. Confidence (4.8%)

Confidence - 1Confidence is a “Modern Red Ale”, but more importantly than that it’s a damned fine beer.
Pouring a conker red, the aroma is strawberry jam and treacle, and you get a lot of both in the flavour.
The malting is rich and round and beautifully gloopy with red fruit jam, treacle toffee, digestive biscuits and plums, and the hops are sapling wood pithy, green hazel leaves, hedgerow and fresh bouquet garni doused in lemon tea and nettles.
All this makes for a finish that’s long and sharp, bitter, brittle and dry.
Another superb beer form the gang at Moor.
