Rider’s Revival is a jasmine green tea infused Pale Ale and it’s absolutely delightful.
The jasmine wafts gently up at you as you pour, its subtle perfume mixing with a soft caramel and a subtle peachy fruitiness.
There’s a lovely malt body in here, shortcake and runny honey and lightly salted toffee popcorn, and the hopping is keen and sharp but not overwhelming, it brings a stinging nettle brightness, some fresh green herbal leaves and a clean metallic lemon zest tang.
And all the while the green tea adds an earthy perfumed woodiness in the background.
The result is a light and easy drinking Pale Ale that you’ll want to take your time over in order to experience every little nuance.
This is beautiful brewing.
