Here are the notes that I wrote as I drank this beer.
Reading them back a few days after the event they tell me exactly what I need to know without editing them into prose.

Smells a bit farty.
Cabbagey.
Not enough of a malt presence.
Thin body.
Caramel wafers in a glass of water.
Hopping = Fizzy with sherbet lemons, hedgerow, lime zest.
But something’s not right.
The balance is wrong, leaving a beer with a finish that feels uncomfortable, that feels wrong, but I can’t put my finger on quite why.
