Vocation Brewery Heart & Soul (4.4%)

Heart And Soul - 1For me Hebden Bridge is the home of one of my favourite bands of all time.
Bogshed soundtracked my teenage years, altered the way I heard and made music, and I love them dearly to this day.
They were based in Hebden Bridge, which was and still is an odd little left field town full of weirdos and misfits, artists, squatters, musicians and more weirdos.
Vocation Brewery are based there and so I was expecting a lot, and this little can of beer doesn’t disappoint.
Heart & Soul has a big fruit jelly aroma and honey on toast malts.
There are bags of zesty fresh hops packed with satsuma skins and peaches, pine resin, kiwi and grapefruit before a finish that is tongue witheringly dry and bitter.
Absolutely lovely stuff.
