Weird Beard Brew Co. Tsujigiri (6.2%)

Tsujigiri - 1I first tired this last week at Birmingham Cubed and it was my beer of the day.
And now, sitting at home with no interruptions, I am reminded as to why.
Tsujigiri is an IPA brewed with Yuzu and Saki yeast and it’s fresh and fruity and exciting.
The Yuzu is all over the beer and yet manages to remain a subtle presence, sitting in the background, its delicious lemony tang sparking against the round toffee and Victoria sponge of the malts and the long bitter lime and herbal leaves of the hops.
The Saki yeast provides a clean, clear dry gin-like earthiness and the finish is long and crisp and fresh with lemon zest.
What a super beer this is.
