Bragdy Conwy Minera Mountain (4.3%)

Minera Mountain - 1I’ve yet to find a Conwy beer that I like, in fact I’ve yet to find one that really tastes of anything.
Minera Mountain has ever so slightly more flavour than previous Conwy beer, but it’s an unpleasant sweet sugary flavour that sets your teeth on edge.
This is a golden beer with a head that’s far too big and a smell of toffee apples and spun sugar.
The malting is popcorn and caramel made whimperingly weak by gassy yeast, and there are discernible hops save for the lightest hedgerow greenery.
Minera Mountain is, by the way, a Heather Ale, though telling us that makes absolutely no difference as you’ll be hard pushed to find anything to do with Heather Ale flavours in here.
Bland and boring.
