Bristol Beer Factory Acer (3.8%)

Acer - 1Look, I’ll say it right from the start, this is an amazing beer for its ABV.
Acer is an orange marmalade coloured beer with a creamy little head and it smells of lemon and lime Opal Fruits, or Starburst if you’re a younger reader.
The malting is a mega light caramel covered waffle with a pinch of white pepper, and the hops are a big fresh fruity hit.
There’s lemon and lime zest, peaches and hazel, a green hedgerow pithiness and a tangy sherbet zip that leads you into a long bitter finish.
Super.
