A bit feisty to pour, this was a really pleasant surprise.
I’m getting a bit bored of sour beer as it’s de rigeur for everyone to make one and most of them, frankly, are just sour without much else.
But this has a good honey malt body that adds some much needed sweetness, and there’s a touch of salt at the edges of the brow sugar backbone.
The dry hopping has added a grapefruit zest zing and some fresh green herbal leaves.
And the sourness is gentle and fresh and minty as you move towards the earthy bitter finish.
Very refreshing, very good.
