Well now, this is really rather delightful.
Pouring a deep pink tinged amber, the aroma is a big appetising bouquet of honey soaked rosemary and rhubarb.
There’s a lovely rich toffee, Victoria sponge and popcorn malt, it’s round and chewy and very satisfying, rather like your favourite pudding.
There’s a really nice hop presence too, all fresh green herbal leaves and pithy hedgerow, lime zest and a touch of aniseed.
And humming away underneath is a soft and gentle woody rosemary perfume and the subtle bitter fruitiness of the rhubarb that lingers in the long dry finish.
Fabulous.
