Piddle Brewery Doorset (3.9%)

Doorset - 1I have to say that this is absolutely lovely.
Doorset is an “Apricot Wheat Beer” with the apricot flavours coming solely from its English hops rather than from any addition of fruit.
Pouring a pale gold, the aroma is orchards and meadows, while the malts are soft and creamy, shortcake, Weetabix and caramel with a little peppery pinch form the yeast at the edges.
The hops are really fruity, packed with apricot flavours, you can almost feel the furry skins as you drink.
There’s also a good nettle tea sting as you head towards the crisp, clean and very refreshing finish.
