Pouring with a huge fruit salad of an aroma, this pale golden beer is very nice indeed.
The malting is all wafers and caramel, honey, French bread and just a hint of apple juice.
But this is a beer that’s all about hops, and though we are not told what hops are used we are told that a load of them were put into the copper and then a shed load more after fermentation.
And what all these hops have done is create a superbly bitter, dry, pithiness that’s packed tightly with mango and passion fruit, lemon rind, satsuma zest and peach flesh, and as you drink the taste and feel of this mega hopping grows and grows, sucking all the moisture from your face in the most delightful way.
