Ooh, this is a nice sharp little IPA.
Brewed with a Saison yeast to give the beer a lovely round earthy backbone, the beer pours a bright gold with a fluffy little head and smells of meadow flowers and passion fruit.
The malting is a very satisfying gloopy caramel and shortcake, honey, linseed and French bread, and the hops are big and zesty, sharp and bitter, all lime leaves and lemon zest, peach, mango and papaya with a snappily fresh green metallic herbal tinge.
And all the while that yeast bubbles away bringing a hint of damp undergrowth, wood pulp and mushrooms to the super long and superbly bitter finish.
