Dark Star Brewing Co. Revelation (5.7%)

RevelationI’m not quite sure what to say about this.
I’m not sure there are enough superlatives.
Revelation is a Pale Ale.
But Revelation is so much more than that.
It’s a rich Amber coloured beer that smells of peaches and pears and redwood resin.
It’s a round bodied beer with a huge chewy perfumed toffee heart, a jar full of honey and a little apricot jam.
And it’s a beer with so much sticky hoppy goodness it makes your eyes cross.
There’s a super gluey pine resin coating grapefruit and apple cores, lime zest, melon and sherbet sweeties, and it all climaxes in a warm boozy and superbly bitter finish.
Revelatory.
