Pouring a nice golden apricot colour with an enormous fluffy head, this “White IPA” or “Highly Carbonated Hefeweizen”, call it what you will, is rather good.
There’s a spiced garden flower bouquet aroma with just a hint of bananas, and that’s where the flavours begin.
Soft caramel wafers, shortcake biscuits, a little banana and a glob of honey from the malts are followed by crisp and sharp green herbal hops, bright with lemon zest and grapefruit that zips across the creamy round finish with a very pleasing dry bitterness.
