This Black IPA single hopped with Mosaic is about as good as you’d imagine.
Pouring a deep tar black with a whispy cappuccino head, the aroma is coffee and toffee and fruity sweets in a worn leather satchel.
Taking a swig you find a highly perfumed little beer that’s heavy with patchouli and lavender as well as the more obvious treacle and toasted brown bread, honey and espresso.
As for the Mosaic, they do what you want them to do, filling your face with sharp shards of lime skin, all zesty and fresh, peach and kiwi and a load of metallic basil leaves that leave you with a long and deliciously dry bitter finish.
