Hop Stuff Brewery Smoked Brown Ale (6.4%)

Smoked Brown AleUsing Lapsang Souchong tea from the Drury Tea & Coffee Co., this Smoked Brown Ale is really rather good, pouring a deep mahogany red, it smells of burned toffee and roast chestnuts.
There’s a decent caramel wafer and honey malt, a little wood smoke and just a hint of chocolate, and there’s a brown crunchy leaf hopping that gives you hazel and hedgerow, bracken and woodland leaf litter while the tea offers a soft perfumed smokiness that loiters in the background of the sharp bitter finish.
