Bad Co. Brewing & Distilling Dazed & Confused (5.5%)

Dazed & ConfusedDazed & Confused is a “Modern Milk Stout”, whatever that means.
I mean, this is a Milk Stout, and a very good one at that, but modern?
I don’t get it.
Anyhow, more importantly than what the brewery calls it is what they’ve made, and what they’ve made is a silky smooth beer that’s packed with chocolate and black coffee, toffee sponge pudding, stewed plums and a twist of orange rind.
You find a bunch of piquant herbal leaves, some pencil shavings and an aroma packed with blackberries and brown sugar syrup.
The finish is big and round, soft and comforting.
In a word, yummy.
