Cloudwater’s Winter Range IPA Is big and bold and beautiful.
Pouring a glowing gold with a fluffy head the smell is pineapple upside down cake coated in honey.
And you’ll find that kind of thing in the flavour too.
The malts are thick and round and rich, sticky with caramelised pineapple, shortcrust pastry, runny honey and a well baked flan case, while the hops, rather than being super sharp and spiky, are soft and chewy, full of peach juice and mandarin zest, orange marmalade and a hint of lime leaves, all of which leads to a big buxom finish that’s warmed through with a comforting boozy heat.
Lovely.
