East London Brewing Co. Pearly Queen (4.5%)

Pearly QueenIf you don’t like Dandelion & Burdock you’d best steer clear of Pearly Queen, as that is exactly what this smells and tastes like.
Sure, there are other things too, a little milk chocolate and a splash of black coffee, some toasted brown bread, a dab of honey and some roasted hazelnuts.
Hops?
Not really, save for the merest hint at hedgerow greenery before the warm fruitiness of the Dandelion & Burdock takes over leaving you with a soft sweet finish.
It’s a nice drink as far as it goes, it’s just rather one dimensional.
