Saints Tower is a rather nice little IPA that pours a rich Amber and smells of raisins, peaches and honey.
There’s a toffee popcorn and bread crust malt and an odd but not at all unpleasant corrugated cardboard thing, kind of dry and dusty and, well, cardboard boxy.
Over this the hops are sharp and stinging, all clementines and lemon rind, herbal leaves and resinous pine, hazel, birch and a chestnut pithiness that leads you towards the crisp bitter finish.
Very nice, box and all.
