Shindigger Brewing Co. West Coast Pale Ale (4.7%)

West Coast Pale AleThis is really rather lovely.
On the surface it’s just another “West Coast” Pale Ale, but take a sniff and your nostrils will dance for joy at the aroma of vanilla and melon, honey and passion flower that wafts up at you.
The malts are soft and supple, all caramel and ice cream cones, honey and almonds, and the hops give you lots and lots of fresh fruit salad, mango and guava, nectarine and grapefruit.
All this and a finish that’s crisp and brittle and refreshing.
Yum.
