Black Flag Brewery Goon (7%)

GoonGoon is an IPA brewed with grapefruit and orange peel and it’s rather good.
Presented in a fetchingly designed can, the beer pours a bright amber with a big frothy head and smells of honey and fruit juice.
There’s a solid pancake and caramel malting, it’s soft and warm, burned toffee at the edges and a big honey heart, and there are bags and bags of hops.
Lots of fresh basil, redwood resin, peach, lime, grapefruit and hazel, and all given an extra dimension by the zesty zing of the orange and grapefruit peel that creates a zippy fruitiness to the finish.
