Brewed with Citra, Columbus, Centennial, Cascade and Simcoe hops, this is a feisty little bottle of beer.
Mind you, I was so sure that I’d already tried and written about this beer I nearly didn’t make any notes at all.
The aroma is peaches and limes and the beer sits a warm amber in my glass.
Taking a mouthful you find a very subtle malt, almost not strong enough to support the hops.
It just about makes it through with caramel and waffles, and it’s a good job that it’s there because the hops are big and boisterous.
There’s lemon and lime, grapefruit, satsuma, peach and sherbet zing that makes for a sharp fruity bitter finish.
