Marin Brewing Co. Mt. Tam Pale Ale (5.5%)

Mt TamThis is a super little Pale Ale that has a hefty dose of glazed lemon pastry puffs in both the smell and flavour.
Pouring a bright amber, the smell is also full of vanilla and caramel, and taking a swig you find lots of spun sugar, waffles, pancakes and a little maple syrup, and a sharp slap from the hops with their candied lemon rind and orange marmalade, pithy redwood resin and a splash of grapefruit juice.
The finish is bright and fresh and bitter.
Lovely stuff.
