Mother Earth’s Double IPA slinks out of its can a warm sticky amber with a tiny ring of bubbles for a head and a smell packed with redwood resin, strawberries and pineapple.
The malting is round and chewy, a mouthful of sticky toffee pudding, digestive biscuits, honey and a hint of peanut butter, and the hops are fiercely bitter, stuffed full of grapefruit and lime zest, mango, metallic basil leaves and a healthy glob of pine resin.
And with the brandy tinged alcohol heat making everything warm and boozy, Hop Diggity is a fun filled, eye crossingly boozy can of fun.
