Apart from a slightly odd cardboard box background hum and a slightly sandy texture, this is a rather nice bottle of beer.
For a start it’s absolutely packed with hops.
Starting with the fresh fruit salad aroma and squeezing the moisture from your face when you take a swig, you find lemon and lime zest, sherbet covered grapefruit segments, orange marmalade and peach juice.
The malting is a bit flimsy, with just a lick of honey and the wimpiest waffle base, but that’s forgivable, if like me you’re a hop head.
And so I would say that this beer was really good, if it wasn’t for the weird sandy boxy thing lurking in every sip.
