Anarchy Brew Co. Antichrist (6.66%)

AntichristThis is a decent little Black IPA that pours a deep dark mahogany brown with a little lacy head and smells of chocolate and chewy fruit salad sweets.
There’s a big round malt, all treacle tart, honey pancakes, coffee and digestive biscuits, it’s thick and sweet and tinged with rich liquorice root.
And there are hops, lots of lovely hops.
You find grapefruit and papaya, mango, peach and lime zest, a bunch of herbs and a squeeze of lemon juice.
All this makes for a beer that feels nice and sticky in your tongue while prickling with a lovely bitterness in the finish.
