Bad Co’s IPA is alright, pouring a rich amber with a slightly shampoo-y citrus aroma.
There’s a reasonable toffee and biscuit malting, and you find a little honey and brown bread in there too.
The hops start off alright too, with a decent hedgerow and grapefruit, pineapple and lemon rind slap, but this goodness gives way to a bit of a washing up liquid thing that, coupled with the oily feeling on your tongue and the fact that my bottle was a little bit flat, turns a good IPA into a just about alright IPA.
