This is a very good little lagered beer brewed with Pilsner malt and Saaz hops and cold fermented for five weeks.
So, all the things you’d expect to find in a traditional lagered beer.
And Bo’Ho does everything you’d expect it to, providing a light caramel and biscuit malt and some nicely piquant herbal leafy hops.
The yeast adds a gentle earthy spice to the background of the beer and the finish is crisp and dry and refreshing.
I’ve generally been underwhelmed by lagers lately, but this one is very good indeed.
