London Beer Lab Flavourly Lab Porter (4.3%)

Flavourly Lab PorterDry and chocolatey, this collaboration between London Beer Lab and Flavourly is a very nice little bottle of Porter.
It pours a deep purple brown with a frothy cream head and smells of toffee and plum compote.
This is a malt heavy beer, full of chocolate and coffee, treacle tart, honey and prunes, the hops adding a light herbal aside, with mown lawns and a hint of aniseed adding a piquant slap to the edges of the beer as you head towards the rich sticky finish.
