This is a super little Black IPA from Brew Age of Vienna.
Pouring an inky black with a little fuzzy cappuccino head, the smell is molasses and cherries, round and rich and fruity.
There’s a big chewy malt that’s packed with treacle tart, bran flakes and honey nut cornflakes, and the hops – Amarillo, Cascade and Columbus – are stuffed full of garden herbs, hazel and green tea, grapefruit, balsa wood and lemon rind, leading you into the long bitter and beautifully dry finish.
