Cloudwater Brew Co. Brew Co. DIPA v3 (9%)

DIPA v3This is Cloudwater’s best IPA yet.
It’s big and round and juicy, packed with tropical fruit and bubblegum gum.
Pouring a pale gold with a little fluffy head, the aroma is all mango and honey and passion flowers., and taking a swig you find a malt that’s so round and chewy you can’t feel anything else but satisfaction as you sink into the marshmallow and runny honey sweetness, salted shortcake, toffee and peanut brittle.
And then there are hops, mainly in the form of enhanced Citra pellets that create a massive freshly homemade lemonade kick, it’s fizzy and fun, and the addition of Chinook, Comet and Mosaic add green herbal leafy action, sherbet coated lime leaves and pineapple sharpness, and all this is underlined by a warm earthiness from the Vermont yeast that lends a round meatiness to the superbly bitter dry finish.
