This is a decent little lager.
Pouring a pale gold, the aroma is orchard flowers and apple juice with the oddest whiff of rice pudding, and taking a swig you find a soft and gentle caramel wafer malt, some honey, a hint of white pepper and a subtle earthy spice from the yeast.
The hops bring lots of bruised apples, some pithy bracken and the sharp snap of nettle tea, and the finish is creamy and light with a swift bitter swipe right at the end.
Good stuff, but the rice pudding is odd.
