First Chop Brewing Arm Chai PA (4.8%)

Chai PAI absolutely love this beer, plain and simple.
It won’t be to everyone’s taste as the added spices and Jiggery are very up front, but I find it delightful.
At base, this is a very good little Pale Ale with a caramel and wafer body, some honey and shortcake and a good snappy hedgerow hop that’s sharp with nettle tea and lemon rind.
But all over it are warm peppery spices and the hint of molasses sweet Jiggery.
The spices are fiery with ginger and woody with cinnamon and All Spice, and this makes for a rich earthy finish to this fine little beer.
And now I come to think of it, I may well have reviewed this before but First Chop were calling it something different.
