Well now, this is a decent little can of loveliness.
Oskar’s pale gold IPA pours from its can with a big fresh floral bouquet tinged with woody resin.
This has all the classic, almost clichéd, things you expect to find in a good American IPA.
From the chewy toffee and biscuits, honey and salty pancakes of the malts to the sharp and bitter lemon rind, sticky pine sap, herbal leaves and grapefruit marmalade of the hops, you get all the stuff you might be looking for.
But the important thing here is just how balanced the beer feels.
Everything sits just perfectly with its neighbour, making you want to swig this beer and its long dry bitter finish.
