Brewed in collaboration with Hawkshead this is a decent little beer.
Pouring a pale gold the smell is lightly floral with a hint of lime at the edges.
The malting is all soft caramel and wafer biscuits, and the hops add a green herbal snap and some gooseberry and kiwi, though I’d expect this to be a little more pronounced from New Zealand hops.
The Kafir lime leaves give a pithy green lime freshness to the finish of the beer and the salt adds, um, well you know, saltiness.
Decent enough.
