Battle Of The Trees is an unfiltered IPA that pours with a billowing cloud for a head and smells of good things like garden flowers and honey and just a hint of curry leaves.
There’s a solid malt backbone that’s full and round with toffee and waffles, brown bread crusts and burned Demerara sugar, and it’s complemented by sharp green herbal hops that give you mango and mandarin, gooseberry and balsa wood, pine cones and sherbet lemons.
All this makes for a super little beer with a stingingly dry bitter finish.
Lovely stuff.
