Gypsy Hill Brewery Drifter (7%)

DrifterDrifter is an IPA that has been brewed in collaboration with The Craft Beer Channel, but most importantly it’s rather good.
Pouring a warm gold with a little frothy head, the smell is pineapple chunks and Passion flowers.
There’s a soft warm malt that’s round and chewy with caramel brioche, cinder toffee and shortcake biscuits, and the hops are sharp with lemon zest and lime leaves, satsumas and grapefruit, and all of this ends up in a bitter fizzy sherbet finish.
Smart.
