Pouring a deep purple brown, Howling Hops have produced a rather good little Stout.
It’s thick and creamy and smells of dark chocolate and prunes.
Taking a swig you find lots of vanilla, dark bitter chocolate, digestive biscuits and a splash of coffee, and there’s a light swipe of hedgerow greenery and green herbal hops edged with just a dab of orange marmalade.
All this makes for a chewy little beer with a rich and sweet finish that’s full of treacle and cocoa.
