Ilkley Brewery Co. Mary Jane Export (6%)

Mary Jane ExportPouring a pale gold with a super aroma of passionflower, elderflower, orange peel and strawberries, this is Ilkley’s ramped up version of their Mary Jane Pale Ale.
Taking a swig you find a soft honey and wafer malt, some caramel and digestive biscuit, but this beer is all about its hops.
The blend of British, American and New Zealand varieties give you everything from gooseberries to fresh rolling tobacco, kiwi and lime to sticky tamarind, mango and lemon zest.
And with its warm boozy bitter sweet finish Mary Jane Export is well worth hunting down.
