Crate Brewery APA (4.8%)

APAThis is a bright and fresh little can of niceness.
Pouring a pale gold, the aroma is melon, strawberry and mango, its little fluffy head popping and fizzing with life.
There’s a solid caramel and waffle body from the malts, they’re chewy and satisfying, and over it the American hops – this is an APA after all – give you lots and lots of lovely mandarin and passion fruit, sherbet lemons, papaya and just a hint of rolling tobacco woodiness before the long dry and refreshingly bitter finish.
Oh, and I love the minimalist designs on Crate’s cans too.
