I won’t lie, I was rather worried when I approached this beer.
After all, a beer brewed with pineapple yoghurt has the possibilty to go any of several different ways.
But it’s actually very good indeed.
It pours a dull gold and smells of pineapple and honey, and as you take a swig there’s a very pleasing soft and sweet brown sugar and pancake malting over which the pineapple prickles with fruity fresh life, while the yoghurt creates a very gently sourness and a soft smooth creamy feeling as you move towards the juicy bitter finish.
