Time And Tide Brewing Spratwaffler (3.7%)

SpratwafflerThis is a superbly brewed little Session beer, round and refreshing and full of flavour.
Most importantly, there’s a good balance between the malt and hops so that you don’t find a big gaping hole right in the middle of the beer as you can do when the hopping is so hefty.
You see, Spratwaffler is brewed with shed loads of Celeia, Cascade and Citra, and between them they create a big punch of lime zest and lemon juice, rolling tobacco, herbs and garden flowers.
And this is all wrapped up in a caramel and shortcake biscuit malt, while the beer smells of passion flowers and pencil shavings.
Very good indeed.
